Procedures

A procedure in VueOps is a standardized, reusable set of instructions that guides technicians through a maintenance task step by step. Procedures ensure that work is performed consistently, safely, and in compliance with regulations-regardless of who completes the task.

Procedures use the prefix PC in their code (e.g., PC-PCDC-1) and are managed in the dedicated Procedures module, accessible from the sidebar navigation.

What is a Procedure?

A procedure is a structured form that contains fields organized into sections. Each section covers a specific aspect of the task-safety checks, equipment information, step-by-step instructions, approval sign-offs, and more.

When attached to a work order or program, a procedure provides technicians with a structured checklist to follow during execution. Completed procedure data is stored with the work order for compliance, auditing, and record-keeping.
