About Work Orders

A work order is a standardized ticket that details a maintenance task, inspection, repair, or other operational work within your facility. Work orders help teams organize, assign, track, and complete tasks efficiently.

A work order in VueOps includes information such as:

  • The title and description of the work to be done.

  • The asset or location that requires attention.

  • Who is responsible for completing the work (assignees).

  • When the work should start and when it's due.

  • The priority level of the task.

  • Any procedures, parts, or costs associated with the work.

Administrators and authorized users can create and manage work orders from the Tickets module in VueOps. Work orders use the prefix WO in their Ticket ID (e.g., WO-PCDC-6).
