Create a Service Request

- From the sidebar, select Tickets to open the Tickets module.
- Click the dropdown arrow (▾) next to the Create button.
- Select Service Request from the dropdown.
- Enter a title describing the issue.
- Add details: photos of the issue, a description, priority level, and the affected location or asset.
- Optionally, navigate to the Assignments tab to specify who should handle the request.
- Click Submit to create the service request.
Service requests use the prefix SR in their Ticket ID (e.g., SR-PCDC-1).
💡 TIP: When submitting a service request, include as much detail as possible-photos, specific location, and a clear description of the issue. This helps the maintenance team respond faster and more effectively.
Viewing Service Requests
Service requests appear in the Tickets module alongside all other ticket types. To view only service requests:
-
Navigate to the Tickets module.
-
Click the Type filter in the filter bar.
-
Select Service Request to filter the list.
All the same view options (Table, Calendar, Graph), filters, search, and column customization apply to service requests.
Service Request Lifecycle
Service requests follow the same status flow as work orders:
-
Open - The request has been submitted and is awaiting action.
-
In Progress - The maintenance team is actively working on the request.
-
On-Hold - The request is paused (e.g., waiting for parts or approval).
-
Done - The request has been resolved.
