You can add locations to VueOps via spreadsheet import.
Same flow can be used to link locations to model elements in 3D
- Click on the "Locations" module (1). Select "Add Location" (2) and choose "Spreadsheet" (3)
- Click on "Download Import Template" (1).
You will see a spreadsheet getting downloaded. You can use that template to add the asset data and import it to VueOps
- Open the spreadsheet and fill the location details
- There are 12 common attributes that applies to all of the assets and 4 of them are mandatory fields to create a location

- Location Type (1) - Type of the location - Floor or Room
- Operating Location (2) - Unique name to identify a location and also connect it to assets
- Floor Name (3) - Name of the floor, in case of rooms, floor name corresponds to the floor that the room is located
- Room Name (4) - Name of the room
