Location Operations

Bulk Operations

The Locations module supports bulk operations for managing multiple locations:

• Delete Selected - Remove selected locations

• Activate Selected - Activate selected locations

• Deactivate Selected - Deactivate selected locations

• Import - Bulk import locations from a file

More Actions

Additional administrative actions available from the More Actions menu:

• Manage Attributes - Configure which attributes are tracked for locations

• Sync - Synchronize location data with external sources

• Export - Export locations to a file

• Error Log - View import/sync errors

• Show "All Locations" - Display all locations including inactive ones

Search and Filter

• Use the search bar to find locations by name or number

• Filter by Location Type to find specific kinds of spaces

• The table supports sorting by column headers

BIM Integration

• Each location has a "View In" column/button that opens the location in the BIM viewer:

• View the location's 2D floor plan

• See the 3D spatial context

• Understand the physical layout and relationships between spaces

Locations and Other Modules

Locations connect to several other VueOps modules:

• Assets - Assets have an Operating Location field linking them to their physical location

• Work Orders - Work orders can be assigned to locations

• Programs - Programs can target specific locations for recurring maintenance

• Sub-Work Orders - Can be created "By Location" to generate tasks for each location

• Procedures - Procedures can be linked to locations
