Model Navigation Overview
In the VueOps Model Viewer there are two methods of navigating a 3D model:
- Manual Navigation – using the mouse or keyboard to control the perspective of the model view, as well as to select objects in the model by clicking elements in the 3D view to display their relevant asset data.
- Search-Based Navigation – using the VueOps Search bar to locate and bring into view assets and locations (floors and rooms) by their tags and location names.
VueOps provides both traditional model navigation tools for the experienced BIM user and search-based navigation for a more intuitive model navigation experience.
Search-based navigation is a powerful and efficient method to quickly locate and contextualize facility assets and locations through a familiar search bar interface.
