Permission Levels and Scope
VueOps uses a combination of Scope and Permission Level to control what users can see and do.
Scope
Scope defines the breadth of a user's access:
-
Facility — Access to facility-level data (assets, locations, tickets, documents)
-
Project — Access limited to specific project data
-
Vendor — Access limited to vendor-relevant information
Permission Levels
Permission levels define what actions a user can perform within their scope:
- Administrator - Highest level access with complete autonomy in managing the facility - documents, users, assets.
-
Collaborator - Standard access for team members who need to view and contribute to facility data
-
Partner Manager - Extended access for managing partner relationships and broader oversight

ℹ️ NOTE: Permission mappings can be configured at both the organization level and the facility level. The "View Mapping" link on each user shows their complete permission configuration across all levels.
