Upload an Attachment to a Warranty Ticket

Required User Permissions

All users can view and upload attachments to tickets they have access to.

Project Administrators, Project Editors, Facility Administrators and Facility Editors can edit and delete attachments.

Steps

  1. Navigate to the Warranty Tickets Module.
  2. Select the relevant Ticket from the grid. 
  3. Change the Tab to ‘Attachments’.
  4. Click ‘Choose File’ and select a document from the file explorer. When you have selected the file you’d like to upload, click ‘Open’. 
  5. Add a Description of the attachment.
  6. Click ‘Add Attachment'.

Additional Information

Attachments must be uploaded one file at a time, you cannot upload multiple documents or folders at once.

Attachments are displayed in chronological order, the oldest being at the top.

The Attachments tab will not display the date, time stamp and user who uploaded an attachment. This information is available in the History tab.

On the Warranty Ticket homepage, the tickets grid will show the number of Attachments uploaded to that Ticket under the paperclip icon.
