Programs

A program in VueOps is a recurring maintenance plan that automatically generates work orders on a defined schedule. Programs help you establish preventive maintenance routines, ensuring that critical equipment and facilities receive regular attention without manual work order creation each time.

Programs use the prefix PR in their Ticket ID (e.g., PR-PCDC-1).

What is a Program?

A program defines a repeating maintenance task with all the details needed to generate work orders automatically. When a program is active, VueOps creates work orders at the intervals you specify—daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, or any custom recurrence pattern.

Programs include:

  • A title and description of the recurring work.

  • A schedule with start date and recurrence pattern.

  • Sub-work orders that define the specific tasks for each asset or location.

  • Assignments for who should complete the work.

  • Procedures that provide step-by-step instructions.

  • Parts and cost tracking information.
